While the Chambers of Commerce work hard to create events that bring people to their cities, and merchants band together to get people in their stores, EcTownUSA is creating software and marketing systems to promote the entire community.
To begin the process of revitalizing a community it is critical that infrastructure be implemented first and then education second.
After implementing many systems we learned that sophisticated educational models bring the cities together via the Chamber of Commerce. The best catalyst we've found so far is a seminar series called Battle for Business that started in 2005 by Richard Scully and Russ Flint of Quincy California.
